About Us
FindingMyDoc is a directory of urgent care, family practice and pediatric clinics across Texas.
We list 15,954 clinics in 692 Texas cities — walk-in and urgent care, family and internal medicine, and pediatrics — with the details that actually decide where someone goes: where a clinic is, when it is open, what it treats, whether it takes walk-ins, and which insurance it accepts.
Where our information comes from
Directory information goes stale quickly. Clinics move, change their hours, join health systems, and close. We build each listing from three sources, and we deliberately do not treat them as equal:
- Public and mapping data gives us the starting point for every clinic — name, address, phone, and hours.
- The practice’s own website, which we read to fill in services, clinicians, insurance accepted, and online booking links.
- The practice itself. When someone who works at a clinic confirms a detail, their answer replaces everything else we hold.
That last source is the one that matters, and it is why we contact practices directly. A fact confirmed by the people who work at a clinic is worth more than anything we can read or infer — so when a practice tells us something, we keep it, and later automated updates do not overwrite it.
What we are not
We are a directory, not a medical provider and not a booking service. We do not employ clinicians, we do not give medical advice, and we cannot make or change an appointment for you. Everything on a clinic’s page is there to help you choose where to go and then contact them directly.

You can review your listing and correct anything that is wrong — hours, services, insurance, clinicians, or the description. If your clinic is not listed at all, you can add it.
